The mission of HIV/AIDS Workshop is to promote in-depth knowledge of HIV/AIDS among health workers as well as general knowledge for patients or people with high risk behaviours. We are particularly interested in the Chinese community as China, which has the biggest population in the world, is at the edge of an HIV/AIDS epidemic, and education of the health workers as well as the general population is very urgent. Since people using the world wide web in China are doubling every six months, the education of HIV/AIDS knowledge through the web site will be a good way of promotion.
The initiation of this web site was generously supported by Barry and Martin's Trust and Mary Kinross Charitable Trust. We welcome donations from individuals, corporations, foundations and public and private institutions to help cover the expense of developing, maintaining and updating this world wide web site. Contributors may sponsor a particular page that currently exists or is being developed, or may choose to support the web site in general. Sponsors will receive appropriate recognition on the hivworkshop.com web site.
